The Al-Ikhlas Journal: Journal of Islamic Religious Education is a scholarly journal developed as an academic publication platform to accommodate studies and research findings in the field of Islamic religious education. The journal was established as part of the editorial team’s commitment to supporting the development of Islamic education scholarship and strengthening academic culture among educators, researchers, and education practitioners.

The Al-Ikhlas Journal: Journal of Islamic Religious Education was first published online on March 21, 2024, using the Open Journal Systems (OJS) version 3.3.0.10. The adoption of OJS aims to ensure professional, transparent, and standardized journal management in accordance with national and international scholarly publishing standards.

Since its initial publication, the journal has focused on publishing scholarly articles addressing strategic issues in Islamic religious education, both conceptually and empirically. The scope includes curriculum development, teaching and learning strategies, educational evaluation, character education and contemporary issues in Islamic education.
