Author Guidelines – Jurnal Pendidikan Islam Al Ikhlas

The Jurnal Pendidikan Islam Al Ikhlas accepts manuscripts that align with the focus and scope of the journal, including research articles, literature reviews, case studies, or critical analyses in the field of Islamic Education.

1. General Requirements

  • Manuscripts must not have been previously published or under review in another journal.

  • Manuscripts may be written in proper Indonesian or English.

  • All manuscripts will be checked using plagiarism detection software; manuscripts with a similarity index above 30% will be rejected.

  • Authors are required to comply with the Ethics of Scientific Publication.

2. Manuscript Format

  • Manuscripts should be typed using Microsoft Word, Book Antique font size 12 pt, single-spaced, on A4 paper with 2.5 cm margins.

  • Manuscripts should be between 4,000–8,000 words (excluding references) or a maximum of 10 pages.

  • The structure of research manuscripts should include:

    1. Title (max. 15 words, clear and informative) in both Indonesian and English

    2. Author name(s), affiliation(s), and corresponding email

    3. Abstract (150–250 words) in both Indonesian and English, with 3–5 keywords

    4. Introduction

    5. Research Methodology

    6. Results and Discussion

    7. Conclusion and Recommendations

    8. References

3. Citation and Reference Style

  • Use the latest edition of APA Style.

  • All references cited in the manuscript must be listed in the references section, and vice versa.

4. Submission of Manuscripts

  • Manuscripts should be submitted via the Open Journal Systems (OJS) on the journal’s official website.

  • Authors must create an account and follow the available submission guidelines.
